True Detectives Season 1

When was the last time you sat and watched a show where two characters on it talked endlessly and debated about philosophies  To be fair  some of them might not even make sense but you  want it because it is carried out so beautifully. That’s true detectives season 1 for you.

Acting at the centre

Big actors dare to come on a tv slow and they create what a camaraderie. Both Rust and Marty with their own stories their own philosophies having a love hate relationship with each other create an  aura.  They never seem to go along together but navigate the case strongly.

Moves between various timelines  

which is a  theme employed by the show to move in different times, by the way it is done seamlessly and each of the time era's have own significance

It show shows the expanse of America 

which includes the rural outlays. It also shows that every town has its own flaws, own politics, own corruption now does it eat its own people, that is what is portrayed is the show but it also shows that if there is unwavering commitment from vigilantes then town can be saved.

Show is a slow burn

No-one is in a hurry to jump to a conclusion all the aspects of the human life, 

Or the crime the show revolvea around are investigated.  They keep asking the question that have they got the right person as the killer.

Complete script leaves you satisfied

is the sense, that there are those just enough twists and turns and the investigators (two great actors in this case casually keep looking for the killer) and how gothic some of the scenes are created.

This should be on your list if you like watching intense cinema
