A movie where it gets into your skin and you can smell its fragrance, that is what Little Miss Sunshine is.
Character Setting:
Such a simple character setting in a dysfunctional family. No wastage of time in making us understand the character and who they are. Five minutes into the movie and you are introduced to all the characters in the movie.
Top notch acting:
No nonsense acting by all, you know it when Steve Carell doe not win the Oscar but his colleagues in the movie do and they deserved it, and the little miss sunshine is the strongest part of the movie which is surprising
Emotional Outburst:
Movie plot as such is simple, there is nothing great about the plot of dysfunctional family on a road trip. But there are dialogues and scenes which are an emotional burst. I repeat some of the scenes which are short but hard hitting.
In the end it shows like van of the movie we have to push life but we have to stick together, there will be hicccups, we will be pulled over, bogged down but still we have to keep going. Keep all you have onto the table again and again. It is a journey not a destination.
Writing about the movie is just an injustice to the movie, it should be watched, re-released in theaters. Sometime we are not able to appreciate a thing at the time but when you look it in hindsight you understand how beautiful it was.
